Mackinaw Bridge 2005

I took this shot of the Mackinaw Bridge from a park to its north on an afternoon in late August 2005. You can barely see the Mighty Mac — an epic structure, one of the world’s longest suspension bridges — between the dark trees and bright blue sky.

“Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair . . .”
